As you can see from the following, over 90% of the maximum available torque (339Nm / 250 lb/ft)
is delivered between 3,000 rpm and 5,650 rpm. The torque 'curve' is nearly a flat line!
Maximum power (159hp / 119Kw) is made at 5,500 rpm
Maximum Torque (339Nm / 250lb/ft) is made between 4,400 - 4,700 rpm.
Measured on a Vane Autocraft 'rolling road' type dynamometer
These figures are all measured 'at the rear wheels' - not the flywheel.

Dyno graph for the Black & white Healey in metric measurements

Dyno graph in 'modern' measurements - Kilowatts and Newton metres.

Dyno graph for the Black & white Healey in imperial measurements

The same dyno graph as above - but in 'the old money' - Horsepower and pound/ft!.

Here are the full dyno numbers at 100 rpm increments from 3,000rpm to 5,700rpm.
